In 2202 a group of drummers met to explore Brazilian rhythms and started a journey that would take them to Escola de Samba BOOM.  Today BOOM is a tight and swinging Bateria (percussion section) of thirty members who have filled their souls with music from the heart.  Our premise has always been to give it away and it will come back to us, and it has.  Based in what is called the “Hamptons” or the East End of Long Island, New York, BOOM has performed at community events and festivals, sharing the sounds of Brazilian percussion………..Samba.
